Representative LaMonica McIver is being politically persecuted for doing her job--demanding accountability and protecting her community from abusive immigration enforcement.
Earlier this month, the Trump administration brought a retaliatory prosecution against her simply for doing her job. These charges aren't just an attack on Representative McIver. They are an attack on every single person who believes in democratic oversight, immigrants' rights, and the right to dissent.
But while Pres. Trump uses his power for authoritarian attacks, we'll be in the streets--making our voices heard.
A hearing in Rep. McIver's case is set for June 25th, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at 2 Federal Square, Newark, NJ--and we need to be there to take action against this blatant injustice.
