The ACLU of New Jersey is a founding member of Let's Drive NJ, a coalition of community, faith, labor, social service, and advocacy organizations dedicated to expanding access to driver's licenses in the Garden State. The coalition was instrumental in passing New Jersey’s law expanding driver’s licenses for all qualified drivers regardless of immigration status, and the group continues to advocate for inclusive, unbiased, and accessible implementation of the law since it went into effect in 2021.
