The American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey serves the entire State of New Jersey from staffed offices in Newark. A local ACLU presence is often created by ACLU-NJ chapters and groups. These groups of volunteer ACLU-NJ members plan and implement programs to promote civil liberties and the work of the ACLU in their communities.
