The College of New Jersey Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey was founded in the beginning of 2004. As a new club, one of our primary concerns is generating interest in the club and our cause. Each semester we usually hold two events promoting awareness of the importance of our civil liberties. For example, in the spring of 2005, our events focused on the USA PATRIOT Act and capital punishment.
