Elyla is the Intake Attorney for the ACLU-NJ. She is responsible for providing litigation and advocacy support to the Legal Department as well as coordinating the Intake Program. In that role, she also supervises the volunteers and interns.
Prior to joining the ACLU-NJ, Elyla worked as a paralegal for five years at a private firm. She is a proud alumna of Douglass College of Rutgers University where she was actively involved in many student organizations. She is a graduate of Rutgers Law School, Newark where she was the Managing Editor of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter.
