Joe Johnson

Joe Johnson is a Law Fellow at the ACLU-NJ. In this role, he assists other attorneys and policy personnel on pressing civil rights issues as they arise here in New Jersey. He has previously interned for the United States Commission on Civil Rights and the Racial Justice Program at the national ACLU.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Joe graduated in 2016 from Monmouth University, where he was captain of the football team. He then attended Georgetown University Law Center, graduating in 2019.  While in law school, he worked as a research assistant and spent a semester as a student attorney in the Georgetown Law Civil Rights Clinic.
