Paloma Aguas

Paloma Aguas is the Communications Associate for the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey. In this role, Paloma does a large portion of the writing, editing, media relations, and rapid response work. Prior to joining the ACLU-NJ’s staff, Paloma worked as a researcher for the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign and Princeton University’s LGBT Oral History Project.

A lifelong New Jerseyan, Paloma started at the ACLU-NJ in 2018 after graduating from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish & Portuguese and a certificate in Latin American Studies. While at Princeton, Paloma facilitated the LGBT Center’s first-year-students discussion group for three years and worked for the Institute of International and Regional Studies.
