Call Your Lawmakers - Expand Driver's License Access for All

Over 700,000 New Jerseyans are counting on our Legislature to pass bill A4743/S3229 that would expand driver's licenses to all qualified drivers, regardless of immigration status.

Families shouldn't fear that driving their kids to school, going to work, or visiting their doctor's office could lead to immigration consequences. After years of tireless work by advocates and community members across the state, lawmakers in the Assembly Judiciary Committee will vote on the bill on Monday, December 9. If passed, New Jersey would be one step closer to becoming the 15th state to expand driver's license access to all.

Call lawmakers now to let them know that we must expand driver's license access for all. Please leave a voicemail if you don’t reach someone in the office.

What do I say when I call?

When you are connected, tell them your name, that you are their constituent, and the following information:

I want my lawmaker to support A4743/S3229 to expand access to driver's licenses regardless of immigration status. Expanding driver's license access would increase road and public safety, strengthen our state's economy, and support the well-being of all families in New Jersey.
