The ACLU of New Jersey seeks the next generation of attorneys for Summer Legal Internships 2023. For over 60 years our mission has been to preserve and expand the rights and liberties granted to all New Jerseyans by the state and federal constitutions. Our work takes place in the courts, in the legislature and in our communities.
In every facet of our work, we strive to be anti-racist and are actively committed to advancing racial justice in the institutions of New Jersey, for the people of New Jersey. We aim to center the voices and lived experiences of those who historically have not been fully protected by government systems or laws.
What you will gain from an internship with us:

- Network Building: Make lasting connections with ACLU-NJ staff, fellow law students and colleagues at partner organizations, and participate in brown bag lunches and Q&As with New Jersey’s public interest leaders.
