ACLU-NJ Releases New Immigrant Rights Card

The ACLU-NJ recognizes that the United States, like every country, has the right to control who enters the country and to enforce the integrity of its internationally recognized borders. At the same time, the ACLU-NJ also believes that the power to exclude and deport must be exercised fairly and humanely, must be consistent with the constitutional norms of due process and nondiscrimination, and the government must comply with the legal and humanitarian principles of international law.

In an effort to educate immigrants about their rights, the ACLU-NJ has produced an Immigrant Rights Card-English (76k PDF) and an Immigrant Rights Card-Spanish (77k PDF).
