Voting is the cornerstone of our democracy, but recent actions by the U.S. Supreme Court have further eroded the hard-fought protections to the right to vote under the federal Voting Rights Act.

This is why we are calling on New Jersey lawmakers to immediately pass the John R. Lewis Voter Empowerment Act of New Jersey (NJVEA) to protect and expand voting rights in our state.
