The ACLU-NJ believes that government openness and transparency are cornerstones to a healthy democracy and fights for access and fair process at all levels of government.

Equal access to housing is a fundamental right, but systemic racism has long kept communities of color from accessing fair housing opportunities. The ACLU-NJ fights against housing discrimination and other unfair housing practices, and advocates for the rights of tenants, homeowners, and people experiencing homelessness.
