At the invitation of the Appellate Division, the ACLU-NJ filed an amicus brief regarding the considerations and legal standards that should apply when the court evaluates whether to dismiss claims that a Seaside Heights ordinance prohibiting hotel and motel rentals to young adults from April 15-June 30 unlawfully discriminates on the basis of age and race under the New Jersey Constitution and the Law Against Discrimination.
