This election, vote like your rights depend on it.

The 2025 election will decide our state’s priorities for years to come: New Jerseyans will be electing a new governor and casting votes in races for every seat in the General Assembly. As attacks on fundamental rights continue across the country, the stakes could not be higher.

Each time someone votes in an election, they make their voice heard on issues that impact our lives and our communities. In a democracy, political power is a positive feedback loop – accountability generates more accountability, participation inspires more participation, progress fuels more progress.

In casting a ballot, New Jerseyans decide whether communities will have the power to hold police accountable, whether all people can have access to abortion and other reproductive health care, whether our state will become fairer and more welcoming for all.

Voting is at the heart of our democracy.

When more people vote, it helps ensure our state can build a future that prioritizes humanity and justice. By voting, and encouraging your friends and family to vote, you are contributing to your community and ensuring that our democracy is truly representative.

A government by and for the people can only exist when members of the public can freely participate in democracy, express their opinions, and make their voices heard.
