The American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey will provide assistance to voters as they go to the polls on Nov. 6 to vote in the presidential election. If you are experiencing problems, call the NJ Vote Line at 1-800-792-VOTE (8683), which will be answered by the League of Women Voters. Citizens who have been displaced by last week’s storm have two options for voting. They can either:
The ACLU-NJ will also have volunteer attorneys at Bergen, Middlesex and Morris counties to represent voters who believe they were wrongly turned away from the polls. Please call us if you live in those counties to see if we can assist you in court to petition for the right to vote.
