Mary Del Plato is the Digital Communications Strategist for the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey. In this role, Mary is responsible for the development, execution, and success of digital projects and properties through the development of strategic communications and integrated campaigns.

Mary joins the ACLU of NJ from the Guttmacher institute, a research and policy organization focusing on sexual and reproductive health and rights. At the Guttmacher Institute, she developed earned and paid media advocacy and fundraising campaigns, and coordinated the development of graphics, videos, and animations for social media campaigns, web pages, and email outreach. Prior to working at the Guttmacher Institute, Mary worked in academic publishing.

Mary holds a BA in communications with specializations in digital media and journalism and in English from Loyola University Maryland and is working towards her certificate in Digital Equity through the Nonprofit Technology Enterprise Network.
