Paloma Aguas is the Deputy Communications Director for the ACLU of New Jersey. In this role, Paloma helps to lead communications strategies that further the ACLU-NJ's mission and strategic priorities, and oversees the organization's messaging, editorial, and publications.
A lifelong New Jerseyan, Paloma graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish & Portuguese and a certificate in Latin American Studies. While at Princeton, Paloma facilitated the LGBT Center’s first-year-students discussion group for three years and worked for the Institute of International and Regional Studies. Prior to joining the ACLU-NJ in 2018, Paloma worked as a researcher for the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign and Princeton University’s LGBT Oral History Project.
