Paloma Aguas is the Communications Strategist for the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey. In this role, Paloma develops and executes strategic communications, including public education materials, digital and print publications, and special projects. Prior to joining the ACLU-NJ’s staff, Paloma worked as a researcher for the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign and Princeton University’s LGBT Oral History Project.

A lifelong New Jerseyan, Paloma started at the ACLU-NJ in 2018 after graduating from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish & Portuguese and a certificate in Latin American Studies. While at Princeton, Paloma facilitated the LGBT Center’s first-year-students discussion group for three years and worked for the Institute of International and Regional Studies.
