Voters have the opportunity this November to shape the future of our state for years to come – New Jersey will be electing a new governor and casting ballots for every seat in the General Assembly. 

The right to vote is one of the most fundamental pillars of our society. Encouraging young people to vote and have a say on the issues that impact their futures makes our democracy stronger.

In every election, we cast our votes on the issues that impact our communities, our lives, and our futures.

Since it was enacted in 1965, the federal Voting Rights Act (VRA) has been a transformative piece of civil rights law intended to protect voters of color from practices that make it harder for them to vote and those that unfairly diminish their voting power.  

The NJVEA would strengthen our democracy by protecting voters of color, reducing barriers to voting, increasing language access and assistance, and prohibiting deceptive practices at the polls.

This election, vote like your rights depend on it.

Habba's task force is premised on false, nativist, and thoroughly discredited narratives about fraudulent voting.

For our state to live up to its values, transformational change is needed to ensure that voting rights are protected and expanded for all New Jerseyans.
